 Plastic bulkhead fittings should
be used anytime a hole is made through glass or acrylic to simplify the attachment
of plumbing pieces.
The use of a Plastic bulkhead fittings will help ward
of stress cracks and leakage. Plastic bulkhead fittings , used in conjunction
with unions, simplify the removal of pumps and accessories.
- For water tight pipe connections through tank walls.
- The 1" to 2" bulkheads fittings are slip x fipt.
- The lock nut, gasket and washer are placed on the inside of the tank.
- The lock nut is reverse thread so that it will not come loose when
a pipe or valve is screwed in.
